Surf Lessons for Beginners

The beginner lesson includes a professional instructor, board, rash guard, shade, and chairs. Our instructor will teach you the theory of how to get into the ocean and stand. You will practice this on the beach, and once you feel comfortable, the instructor will take you for an hour in the water to ride your first waves.

 

Beginner Lesson

  • All the time, the instructor will help you to pick the right wave to ride and will provide you with feedback to improve your stand up technique. We guarantee that after this lesson, you will stand up and surf your first whitewater wave.

Beginner Package 2h

  • The instructor will support you to find the right waves. They will provide you with feedback on how to improve your stand up technique. We guarantee that after this lesson, you will stand up and surf your first whitewater wave. Two hours give us more time to go into detail and rest some more.

intermediate or pro class.

If you are already doing well on standing up and catching your waves close to the shore, you should book the more advanced lesson. Now it’s time for you to go to the next level with an intermediate or pro class. Of course you have access to same equipment as we provide in the beginner lesson.

Intermediate Class.

  • In this lesson, a professional instructor will take you to the inside of the break. This place is between the shore and the line-up. For an hour, the instructor will teach you how to pick the right wave to ride.
  • Both the instructor and student will paddle in with boards until reaching the right point to ride the wave just when it is beginning to break. Theory and practice will be taught in the water. These will be your first steps to ride breaking waves.All the time, the instructor will help you to pick the right wave to ride and will provide you with feedback to improve your stand up technique. We guarantee that after this lesson, you will stand up and surf your first whitewater wave.

Pro Lesson

Price per person 1 hour

  • Already feeling like a Pro but wishing to improve your technique, then an advanced lesson will challenge and take you there.
  • In this lesson, a professional instructor will be surfing with you for an hour. During this time, he will be watching your moves and making suggestions to polish your technique. More than a class, this is two buddies hanging out and sharing experiences in the water.

Family or Group Surf Lessons

If you are traveling with your friends or family, you can try one of our group lessons. In the first 30 minutes of the lesson, the instructors will teach you the theory of how to get into the ocean and stand on the board. You will practice this on the beach, and once you feel comfortable, the instructors will take you for an hour in the water to ride your first waves.

All the time, the instructors will help you to pick the right wave to ride and will provide you with feedback to improve your stand-up technique.

We have also Day Packages to learn surfing

Come to Cerritos and let us take care of you. Our day packages include all you need to have a great day at the beach. We provide surfboards, equipment and even snacks. It is the perfect solution th have a care-free surf fun in Baja California Sur.

Day packages start at 9 a.m. and finish at 6 p.m. When you arrive, you can pick the time for your lesson. Board can be used and swapped all day long. Use rash guard all day.

The seafood is prepared at our family restaurant, “Dueño del Mar.” You can pick from 2 or 3 options available every day. If you are allergic to seafood or don’t feel like it, we can also offer a Mexican food dish instead.

All-day packages have to be booked two or more days ahead.
